Terms of service

The rules for using Plinth, written to be read.

Last updated 9 October 2026.

Using the service

Plinth is a property inventory for real estate teams. By creating an account or joining a team you agree to these terms.

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your team's data

Your team owns the inventory it adds. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service.

You confirm that you are allowed to hold and use the owner names, phone numbers, and documents you add, and that you follow the privacy laws that apply to them, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to send spam, to harass anyone, to break the law, or to try to reach another team's data or disrupt the service.

AI features and third parties

AI reading uses your team's own provider key. Usage is billed by that provider to your team and is governed by its terms. Always review AI results before you commit them; they can be wrong.

Sharing to WhatsApp or Google Calendar hands information to those services under their own terms.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we provide it as it is, without a guarantee that it will always be available or error free.

We may change or improve features. If a change removes something you rely on, we will tell team owners in advance where we can.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost deals or profits, arising from use of the service.

Ending use

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Team owners can ask for an export of their inventory before leaving.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
