Privacy policy
How Plinth handles the information you and your team put into it.
Last updated 9 October 2026.
What we collect
Your account: name, email address, and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile name and picture.
Your team's inventory: the properties, owner names, phone numbers, notes, and files that you or your teammates add or import.
Settings: your team's AI provider key, stored encrypted and shown only by its last four characters.
Basic technical records such as sign-in sessions and the device and browser used, kept to secure your account.
How we use it
We use this information only to run Plinth for you and your team: storing and searching your inventory, signing you in, sending invitations, and reading imports you ask us to read.
We do not sell personal data, show advertising, or use your inventory to train AI models.
Google user data
If you connect Google, Plinth uses your basic profile to sign you in. If you connect Google Calendar, Plinth creates and updates events for the meetings, site visits, and deadlines you schedule in the app, and reads nothing else from your calendar.
Plinth's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect Google at any time from your account settings, which stops all access.
AI providers
When your team reads a file or pasted text with AI, that text is sent to the provider your team chose (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) under your team's own key and that provider's terms. Nothing is sent to an AI provider unless your team set up a key and started the import.
Who processes it
Hosting and file storage: Vercel. Database: Neon. Invitation emails: Resend. Our application servers and database run in the Singapore region.
Each of these acts on our instructions and only to provide the service.
Teams and access
Inventory belongs to a team. Every member of the team can see it; people outside the team cannot. Team owners and admins decide who joins.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your account or team is active. A team owner can delete properties and remove members at any time. When a team is deleted, its inventory is deleted with it.
You can ask us to export or delete your personal data, or to correct it.
Write to hello@plinthapp.in with any question or request about your data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell team owners by email.
